Groundbreaking:
Marvel in the Mission (Phase 1)

MEDA and Mission Housing are proud to announce the official groundbreaking of Marvel in the Mission (La Maravilla). This ceremony marks the start of construction for Phase 1, which will provide 136 deeply affordable homes to our neighborhood.

As the foundational phase of this multi-building community, Phase 1 is dedicated to Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH). This project provides stable residences paired with essential on-site services, creating a permanent solution for neighbors who have experienced chronic homelessness.

This groundbreaking signifies the transition from planning to physical construction. By starting work on these units, we are taking a definitive step toward a more inclusive Mission District where every neighbor has the support they need to thrive.
